Most of the farm is starting to get its green blanket for the winter, and we’re forecasted to get a couple of frosts this weekend, so perhaps it’s appropriate that the last market of the season is tomorrow. I plan to have plenty of dry beans, winter squash, and sweet potatoes with me. They all store well, so come and stock up!
I’ll also have a few items for the last market that I haven’t had for a while: arugula, bunched carrots, huckleberries, and parsnips. And the fennel and kale is amazingly crisp this time of the year. — Sydney
